(they/them)
Partner
Laura is an academic leader, industrial designer, and experience strategist working at the intersection of design, technology, and policy. As Course Leader for BA (Hons) User Experience Design at the University of the Arts London, they provide strategic leadership for a research-informed programme integrating design for sustainability, social innovation, systems thinking, and industry collaboration. Their work defines what it means to lead a living, evolving design curriculum at one of the world’s most prestigious creative institutions.
Their research and professional practice span industrial design, interior architecture, digital fabrication, and spatial innovation, translating experimental design research and intellectual property into scalable products, environments, and integrated service systems. Working across physical, digital, and spatial contexts, Laura develops design-led frameworks that connect user insight, brand expression, and delivery, ensuring coherence and continuity from concept through to implementation. With training in both design and law, Laura brings a rigorous and distinctive approach to creative leadership. This rare combination positions experience as a strategic, measurable asset, enabling them to operate confidently across academic, institutional, and commercial contexts where design decisions carry lasting organizational consequence.

Jonathon Anderson
(he/him)
Partner
Jonathon is an academic leader, designer, and innovation strategist working at the intersection of design, technology, and advanced manufacturing. He is Professor of Interior Design and Founding Director of the Design + Technology Lab at Toronto Metropolitan University, one of Canada’s most ambitious laboratories for design-led technical innovation. He leads research and infrastructure initiatives that integrate digital fabrication, robotics, and transdisciplinary design education, building institutional capacity at the forefront of what design and manufacturing can achieve together.
His research and professional practice span product design, fabrication systems, and spatial innovation translating experimental design methods into built environments and scalable, design-led delivery models. Working across design, manufacturing, and construction, Jonathon develops integrated frameworks that connect concept, production, and implementation, enabling projects to move with discipline from bespoke outcomes to repeatable systems capable of operating at scale. Through this approach, Jonathon connects design practice, innovation strategy, and operational delivery, establishing design not merely as an aesthetic discipline, but as a fundamental driver of organizational growth, technical development, and enduring value. His work demonstrates that the most consequential design decisions are structural, systemic, and strategic in their truest sense.

Tonkatsu Lovell-Anderson
(she/her)
Pawsitivity Director
Tonkatsu is the studio’s Pawsitivity Director and woven into its daily operations and culture. A lilac and fawn French Bulldog with an unmistakable potato-meets-chicken-nugget form and an instinctively joyful disposition, she brings warmth, presence, and a gentle sense of structured play. She can often be found sunbathing, socialising, playing fetch, or happily tagging along to the local pub. Affectionate and perceptive, Tonks quietly shapes the atmosphere. She is a reminder that alongside rigour and precision, the most enduring work is sustained by joy, play, and quiet optimism.
